The Elite Group of 18 Celebrities Who Have Achieved the Highly Coveted EGOT Status

If you're a fan of movies, music, television, and theater, then you've probably heard of the EGOT. This prestigious acronym stands for the four major American entertainment awards - the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. Winning one of these awards is already a great achievement, but being able to win all four is an accomplishment that only a select few have been able to achieve.

As of this writing, only 18 individuals have earned the right to call themselves EGOT winners. These accomplished individuals come from different fields in entertainment, including acting, composing, writing, and producing. In this blog post, we'll take a closer look at the elite group of 18 celebrities who have received the highly coveted EGOT status.

The EGOT Winners List

The first person to achieve the EGOT status was Richard Rodgers, an American composer, and songwriter. He won his first Tony Award in 1945 and completed his EGOT in 1962. Since then, only 17 others have accomplished the feat, listed below in chronological order:
